PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY
Pediatric dentistry aims to prevent dental problems and care for the oral health of children and teenagers.
Like permanent teeth, primary teeth require a wide range of treatments, including fillings to repair cavities, and pulpotomies (canal treatments) to cure very deep cavities.
The pediatric dentistry specialism is closely linked to orthodontics. Dental restoration mainly involves treating injuries, applying dental sealants (lightly coating recesses and fissures on teeth while removing very little tooth material to prevent cavities), and treating cavities and related issues when they do occur.
Our pediatric dentists recommend children and teenagers have a check-up every six months.
