ODONTOBABIES

The  Odontobabies (Odontology for babies) service specialises in oral and dental care for children aged between 3 months and 3 years. It helps to prevent oral health conditions and works with families to achieve good dental health.

The Spanish Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children visit the dentist for the first time when they are six months old; parents are increasingly concerned for their babies’ early dental health and often bring this first appointment with the dentist forwards.

The Odontobabies service helps to establish good dental hygiene and eating habits from early childhood. It prevents cavities in very young children, helping with an early diagnosis if they do appear, diagnoses disordered tooth eruption, detects problems with soft tissue that could impede breastfeeding (e.g. a tongue tie), among other conditions and disorders.

Our clinic has a paediatrics approved dental chair that has been specially designed for checking and treating our youngest patients.
